Why do I need an Additional Creative Services Proposal?

If you’ve already signed a Creative Services Agreement with your client and you’re being engaged by the same client for another service, this Proposal records the key terms for the new engagement (such as scope, deadlines, deliverables, intellectual property rights and fee) and incorporates the general terms of your existing Creative Services Agreement. You don’t need another Creative Services Agreement! If you sign a Proposal before the existing services are complete, the length of your Creative Services Agreement is automatically extended when you sign a Proposal. If you have a Creative Services Agreement with a continuous term, you can agree a Proposal under it any time.

The Proposal is simple, short and easy to understand, without legalese. It’s easy to tailor to each new engagement by answering a few straightforward questions.

How long will it take to create my Additional Creative Services Proposal?

Under 5 minutes – super quick! During the Q&A you can save your progress to come back later, or repeat the Q&A to change an answer or produce a new version of a document.

What information do I need to complete the Q&A?

  • The name and contact details of your client
  • Scope of services and deliverables (things you will provide)
  • Deliverables deadlines
  • Fee, expenses and payment
  • Who will own intellectual property rights in the deliverables

What if I need help?

On Your Terms has teamed up with Luminate Legal to offer its customers the option of obtaining legal advice from a lawyer to provide extra assurance and peace of mind. If you would like to ask a lawyer some quick questions about your document (or your responses to the Q&A), or have your document reviewed/edited by a lawyer, click here to view and select Luminate Legal's packages and fixed-fee pricing exclusively for On Your Terms customers. Alternatively, you can ask your own lawyer to review your document.

What do I do once my Additional Creative Services Proposal is created?

The Proposal is ready to sign as soon as you have downloaded it. Both parties must sign it to ensure it’s legally enforceable, which you should do before you start work.
