Why do I need this Key Employment Policies Bundle?

This bundle contains the three most crucial employment policies for any business. Save money by buying them as a bundle:

  • Health and Safety Policy: Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 businesses are required to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of their workers. To comply with this obligation, your business should have clear policies and procedures in place regarding health and safety. This Health and Safety Policy outlines health and safety responsibilities for the business and its workers, and sets the expectation that workers constructively engage in health and safety matters. It also puts workers on notice that any breach of these health and safety expectations may result in disciplinary action or termination of engagement.
  • Bullying and Harassment Policy: Your business should have clear procedures for workers to follow if they believe they are being bullied, harassed, victimised, or discriminated against at work. You also have health and safety obligations to keep workers safe and deal with this behaviour. The purpose of this Bullying and Harassment Policy is to set a framework for minimising bullying and harassment in your workplace and to provide guidance to you and your workers on how issues can be addressed. This policy outlines for your workers what behaviour is unacceptable and how your business will address this behaviour (including disciplinary action or termination of employment/engagement).
  • Drug and Alcohol Policy: Having policies and procedures in place to manage the risks associated with drug and alcohol use by your workers (being employees, contractors, volunteers, casual staff and anyone conducting work for or on behalf of you at any location or in your vehicles being used for work purposes) is an important part of your business’ responsibility to manage health and safety risks. This Drug and Alcohol Policy sets out a framework for reducing the potential harm of drug and alcohol use in the workplace and provides guidance to managers on testing requirements and disciplinary processes. It also outlines when a worker may be required to undertake a drug and/or alcohol test, the process for the testing, and what action may result. Drug and alcohol testing and disciplinary processes are risky matters, so it is important that you and your managers understand the steps that must be followed in these circumstances. As testing involves the collection of personal information, this policy will also be helpful to ensure that any privacy obligations are complied with.

What do I do once my documents are created?

After that, the policy can be introduced.
